Job Description

Based in the HelloFresh Sydney Campus, the Senior Payroll Officer will report to the Payroll Lead ANZ and help process and manage the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for the HelloFresh Group across Australia and New Zealand.

You will…

  • Process and manage the End-to-end payroll on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis for approximately 1250+ employees across three entities
  • Help mentor and manage workload of the payroll team under the direction of the Payroll Lead ANZ
  • Process and audit Superannuation, Child Support, PAYG payments, kiwisaver, PAYE and Student loan deductions
  • Analyse and validate time & attendance records, ensuring compliance with relevant Awards and legislation
  • Prepare final payment calculations, workers compensation and other adhoc pay calculations
  • Maintain employee data accuracy across multiple systems
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and Modern Awards
  • Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for payroll queries
  • Regularly review the payroll team workload and assign secondary duties to ensure cross training within the team
  • Partner with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders on a day to day basis

You have…

  • Minimum 3 years experience with high volume end to end payroll processing
  • Experience and knowledge of Modern Awards, preferably the Food,Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award and Storage Services and Wholesale Award
  • Experience in ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime (Kronos Workforce Ready) is highly regarded but not essential.
  • A good working knowledge of end to end payroll and its complexities
  • A strong analytical background and proficient Excel skills including the use of Vlookups,Pivot tables etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with both an autonomous and a team player attitude
