As part of the Integrity Orthopaedics team, Smith+Nephew’s latest acquisition, the Warehouse & Operations Supervisor will lead and develop teams responsible for Warehouse Operations, Receiving Inspection, and Final Packaging/Labeling. This role is accountable for ensuring compliant material flow, accurate inventory control, timely product release, and on-time shipment in support of commercial growth.

This position partners closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Engineering to maintain strict adherence to FDA, GMP, and company quality system requirements while achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.

Integrity Orthopaedics transformed soft tissue repair with a patented, FDA-cleared system designed to improve surgical fixation and long-term healing in rotator cuff repair. As we expand production and commercial distribution, this leadership role is critical to scaling operations while maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

This position is a S1 level.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead receiving, material storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment operations
  • Ensure accurate ERP transactions and maintain inventory integrity and traceability
  • Drive cycle counts and continuous improvement of inventory accuracy
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to support operational scaling
  • Partner with Planning to ensure material availability and on-time delivery
  • Oversee incoming inspection activities and material status control
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
  • Lead final packaging and labeling operations to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate product release
  • Partner with Quality to address nonconformances and prevent labeling or documentation errors
  • Recruit, develop, and lead warehouse and inspection team members
  • Manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Drive accountability through visual management and performance metrics
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Lead 5S and standard work initiatives to improve efficiency and discipline​

What will you need to be successful?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related fields strongly preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations within the medical device industry or other highly regulated environment
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience managing lot-controlled and traceable inventory systems
  • Experience supporting packaging, labeling, or receiving inspection functions preferred

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of FDA/GMP requirements
  • Understanding of inventory control and ERP systems
  • Basic knowledge of operational financial metrics
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $70,500.00 - 105,750.00 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
