Location: Edmond Medical Center
Shift: PRN, 5:30 a - 2:00 p
The Special Procedures unit offers services such as procedural endoscopy, outpatient surgery, PACU, PNCU, cath lab and infusion. The team is comprised of about 35 RNs and Techs. Most positions within the unit cover four, 10 hour shifts as opposed to three, 12 hour shifts.

Under general supervision of a registered nurse, performs routine tasks in patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Six (6) months experience in a healthcare setting OR completion of a health related vocational education course of at least 3 months OR completion of the first semester of clinical education in an associate or bachelor’s degree program from a non-nursing health care discipline.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, and follow written and oral instructions; and to maintain effective working relations with others.
