About the Role

At Spec, we’re redefining how companies protect customer journeys from bots, fraud, and abuse. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth engine—sparking conversations with net-new accounts and helping turn interest into opportunity.

You’ll work closely with marketing and sales to identify the right accounts, engage contacts through personalized outreach, and set up meetings for Account Executives. This is a high-impact role that requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a results-driven mindset. It's ideal for someone who’s excited about solving complex problems and helping businesses unlock the full potential of their digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Report to the Senior Marketing Manager and collaborate with AEs to break into top accounts

  • Research target companies and personas to deeply understand their business, pain points, and potential fit

  • Generate pipeline through multi-channel outbound outreach—including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn

  • Craft tailored messaging that resonates with fraud, risk, and platform security professionals

  • Effectively communicate Spec’s value prop, especially our unique visibility and ability to detect what others miss

  • Maintain clean, up-to-date records in Salesforce and share feedback to improve campaign targeting

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly meeting goals

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A curious, coachable, and self-motivated attitude

  • Grit—comfortable with hearing “no” and eager to iterate

  • A natural sense of ownership and urgency to meet goals

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (a plus)

  • Experience in outbound prospecting or a passion to learn it
