WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will join a team that transforms Apparel Manufacturing Industry for future while reimagining the manufacturing processes to create world’s best sportswear apparel. You will work closely with global cross-functional teams in the Nike Organization, Nike’s Factory Partners, External Machine Suppliers and Manufacturing Solution Providers. This role reports to Director – Manufacturing & Systems Engineering (South Asia) based in Singapore.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
What You Bring:
- 12+ experience in Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing, Automation, and Digitization.
- Proven leadership in managing and developing high-performing engineering teams with a focus on automation technologies.
- Expertise in automation systems, robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and IoT as they relate to manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Global Sewing Data (GSD) and background in factory capacity planning & management.
- A strong technical foundation with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field; advanced degree or certifications in engineering or technology management are preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing process design and optimization, with a demonstrated ability to innovate and improve complex systems.
- A track record of successfully implementing large-scale automation and digitization projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-layered global organization.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and data analysis tools.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the key Manufacturing Modernization and Digitization initiatives at Nike, together with Nike’s Factory Partners.
- Develop strategic plans for the integration of advanced technologies that enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and speed to market in partnership with Nike’s Factory Partners.
- Oversee the research and evaluation of new automation and digitization technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation that supports Nike’s enterprise strategy and business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Partner Management, Product Creation and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, to align advanced capabilities with Nike’s product and process requirements.
- Drive the implementation of Advance and Intelligent Industry initiatives, including smart factory concepts, the Internet of Things (IoT) and AI, to create a connected and intelligent manufacturing ecosystem.
- Facilitate the development of technical standards and best practices for automation and digitization projects.
- Mentor and develop the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Track and refresh key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of automation and digitization initiatives and their impact on manufacturing outcomes.
- Engage with external technology partners and internal stakeholders to drive innovation and stay abreast of emerging trends in advanced manufacturing.
