Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and customize software solutions using Siemens NX and Teamcenter, integrating the two systems to optimize design and manufacturing processes. - Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs within the NX and Teamcenter environments. - Design and implement custom functionalities, scripts, and plugins within NX and Teamcenter to enhance productivity and efficiency. - Configure and customize Teamcenter workflows, data models, and business rules to align with clients' specific requirements. - Troubleshoot and debug issues related to NX and Teamcenter customization, ensuring smooth operation of the software. - Provide technical support and guidance to clients, assisting them in utilizing NX and Teamcenter to its full potential. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in NX and Teamcenter customization and related technologies. - Document customizations, processes, and best practices for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter, including experience with customizing and extending their capabilities. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java, as well as scripting languages like Python or VBScript. - Solid understanding of CAD/CAM principles and workflows, as well as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) concepts. - Knowledge of Teamcenter modules, including data management, workflow management, and change management. - Familiarity with Teamcenter customization tools and technologies, such as ITK (Integration Toolkit), BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE), and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address customization challenges. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and understand their requirements. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter - This position is based at our Chennai office - A 15 years full-time education is required
