AS A SHIPPING COORDINATOR YOU WILL:

  • Coordinate the finished goods and raw material shipping operation
  • Load raw materials, equipment, and chemicals and log all incoming equipment
  • Create pick lists on product received
  • Prepare consolidate packing list, assign reference numbers, and verify material
  • Support communication of daily customer shortages to the plant, process shipments, document and release loads
  • Support proper and accurate documentation for both northbound and southbound loads
  • Load and unload all MRO/Raw Material, equipment and chemicals
  • Log all incoming Raw Material and MRO
  • Ensure the north-and-south-bound trucks and trailers logistics average pounds per load are maintained, as well as the most cost-effective quantity of trucks
  • Support proper transactions on all incoming/outgoing product, materials and MRO
  • Handle incoming RMAs from customers and communicate with the shipping and receiving department in Reynosa, MX
  • Coordinate warehouse employee assignments to ensure performance objectives are met
  • Ensure proper files are kept within corporate guidelines
  • Process special shipments (air, ground) accordingly
  • Other duties/projects as assigned by the warehouse supervisor. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience and working in shipping and receiving for a manufacturing company
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role now.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, and Enterprise Resource Program such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE
  • Excellent communication skills in English / Spanish
  • Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
