About this role

Role Aim/Purpose:

The Global Product Solutions (GPS) Product Specialist will focus on the continued delivery of best-in-class product solutions to Australian investors, with a particular focus on the continued improvement and evolution of our managed fund and ETF range. As a subject matter expert on product structures, attributes, and operations, the specialist will address inquiries and collaborate with the broader business to implement modifications. The role involves close partnership with the APAC product team and coordination with multiple internal departments such as Legal & Compliance, Client Business, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio Management, and Technology. The specialist will also engage with key external stakeholders to ensure the alignment and success of our product offerings.
 

Major Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of fund launches and changes including product specification and project management from initial concept to launch

  • Maintain our existing product range to ensure compliance with a changing regulation and client landscape.

  • Oversight of the product information on our website and factsheets including the implementation of enhancements, periodic reviews and troubleshooting issues with stakeholders.

  • Maintenance of product committees and internal reporting to senior management

  • Manage ad-hoc queries and projects relating to registered products in the region.
     

Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • 2+ years relevant financial services experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure and be comfortable taking primary responsibility for deliverables assigned

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills required. Bloomberg, Morningstar, Aladdin familiarity/skills a plus

  • strong organisational and communication skills

  • A strong working knowledge of the Australian funds management industry and the investment vehicles commonly used

  • Familiarity with AI tools preferred or viewed favourably
