Position Objective:

Analyze and interpret financial information to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as maximize the company’s tax savings.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance
  • Supervise the preparation and filing of monthly and annual tax returns (income tax, VAT, excise taxes, withholdings, etc.).
  • Ensure timely payment of tax obligations and accurate accounting of taxes.
  • Tax Planning and Strategy
  • Design tax optimization strategies aligned with current regulations.
  • Assess the impact of tax reforms on company operations.
  • Team and Process Management

Lead and train tax analysts.

  • Implement standardized processes and technological tools to improve efficiency in the tax area.
  • Relations with Authorities and Audits
  • Handle tax reviews, external and internal audits.
  • Maintain communication with tax authorities (SAT, Social Security, Housing Fund) and external advisors.
  • International and Corporate Tax
  • Support transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate tax reporting for headquarters or international corporate offices.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in corporate taxation.

English:

  • Advanced English (spoken and written).

Specific Technical Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of Mexican tax legislation and international standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.

  • Strong research, data analysis, and financial modeling skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiente in Microsoft Excel
