The Role

As the Spare Parts Warehouse Coordinator in Torreón Plant, you will ensure effective control of spare parts and materials used by the maintenance area. You will manage inventories within an MRP system, oversee the handling and segregation of hazardous chemicals, ensure compliance with CAS (Quality–Environment–Safety) controls, and maintain order and cleanliness following 5’s and TPM methodologies. You will collaborate with maintenance, purchasing, supervisors, and plant leadership to guarantee availability of materials and safe warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

  • Maintain proper identification, storage, distribution, and control of all chemicals handled in the warehouse.
  • Ensure warehouse personnel handling chemicals are properly trained.
  • Keep incompatibility tables updated and ensure correct segregation of chemicals according to risk.
  • Ensure the warehouse complies with operational, environmental, and safety measures to avoid contingencies.
  • Coordinate and participate in physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Manage receiving of materials and spare parts, ensuring proper records of entries and exits.
  • Create purchase requisitions for spare parts and materials according to plant needs and TPM requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with CAS (Quality–Environment–Safety) operational controls and work instructions.

  • Inventories are accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with MRP requirements.
  • Chemicals are stored, segregated, and managed safely in full compliance with CAS controls.
  • Spare parts availability supports uninterrupted maintenance operations and TPM standards.
  • Warehouse operations uphold the highest levels of safety, order, and cleanliness (5’s).
  • Internal customers (Mantenimiento, Planta, Compras, etc.) receive timely and reliable support.

  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, particularly related to inventory control.

  • Inventory management in MRP systems.
  • Handling of hazardous substances and waste.
  • 5’s and TPM methodologies.
  • CAS system (Quality–Environment–Safety) operational controls.
