The Cash Payments Processing Junior Analyst is an entry level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Operational  team.

The overall objective is to perform moderately complex cash operation tasks by processing all regular transfers, payments, while providing processing assistance for assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

• Process all regular and legal transfers, including the processing of payments, receivables, liquidity flows
• Enter and control banking operations with the highest accuracy and the most efficient way based on the Operating Procedures/requirements in handling operations
• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors as well as handle escalations
• Contribute to and collaborate with cash operations projects as needed
• Testing of new applications
• Provide with effective communication and cooperation with other units
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Western Europe products and accounting systems combined with experience of performing WE activities will be a benefit
• Very good knowledge of English
• Proven system development lifecycle skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
• Effective analytic and presentation skills
