What will this role achieve?
This role will be central to building the strategy, implementing the plans and driving the commercial activities across Europe to drive Samsung’s B2B services portfolio of Knox and Samsung Care+ for Business as well as lead our B2B Online capability (which can be a channel to deploy the services through).
B2B Services
At the heart of the B2B proposition, we have an established Knox Services portfolio, which is growing at great rates. However there is an opportunity to drive this more commercially and ensure that the capabilities are known, bought and used by our customers and channels. An example is Knox MSP (Managed Service Provider) , which provides partners with a tremendous value added tool, to meet the needs of customers and drive ARPU. This role will be key in developing this, working closely with our SRUK and SRPOL colleagues.
In addition, we have an emerging service; Samsung Care+ for Business, which needs to be commercialised across Europe to realise it potential and drive new revenue streams. This role will be key to that, with the aim of significantly boosting the business by Q3 2026. This will involve working internally and externally with stakeholders across channels, solution providers and internal SC+ teams in Europe and Suwon (Korea).
B2B Online
This is an important weapon in our direct to customer growth, and a channel where we see more demand growing in the market. This role shapes the strategy and direction for how this can grow within our Local Offices ; how the service and support can be shaped and how the commercial offerings are developed to delight our customers!
You will act as the lead for Europe for the SMB .com portal; interfacing to many senior level internal and external parties. The role is within Samsung ETO (European Telecommunications Office), and be in charge of driving the strategy and success of .com business within Europe, working closely with our European Office Marketing team you will help our Subsidiaries be successful through providing regional alignments, expertise, direction, commercial leadership and project structuring to achieve success.
The role will entail working directly with the subsidiary the European Marketing office, B2B and Digital teams and Heads of the B2B business units in Subsidiaries, European Product Management team, HQ Digital and B2B Product Group and Service organisation. In addition, where required, liaising with third-party solution providers.
The role handles both the SMB eStore and our affiliate programme (EPP).
Where relevant we will look to deploy our B2B Services across the digital channels.
The leader for this role:
The leader required for is role, needs to have a positive and driven spirit combined with a strategic mind-set and track record as well as the ability to deliver results through other teams; operating in a complex, international matrix organisation and the ability to work under their own direction, structuring complex project environments and critically developing Pan-European go-to-market & commercial plans.
You will be someone who has demonstrable experience of owning and leading B2B Services and digital businesses, with experience in meeting the needs for B2B customers through this channel. With excellence in propositions/services and in driving successful commercial results through others (cross-functional teams). An analytical mind that enables decisions driven by data to build the strategy for the channel
They will have a strong understanding of the technology involved in these channels and how that can be demonstrated to enhanced performance, as well as the ability to translate that into the business and customer benefits required to deliver this meaningful and growing business.
Key to success will be achieved by building and leading cross functional teams, such as Samsung HQ (D2C/Digital/Product Group/Services Group/ SRUK and SRPOL), EU customer Services team, engaging at Senior and operational levels in selected markets to drive the mutually helpful commercial outcomes.
