This position processes various financial data and documents; analyzes data, prepares financial reports for all funding sources; assists in grant submissions; monitors department and grant financials; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Daily Operations

•    Answers inquiries regarding financial transactions; reviews accounts for errors and discrepancies, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and entered into Workday  
•    Analyze financial data and create financial reports for decision-making purposes  
•    Oversees department credit card reports    
•    Coordinate with other departments to compile and interpret financial data    
•    Manage vendor relationships and handle accounts payable and receivable    
•    Track spending and assist in monitoring department and grant expenditures   
•    Other duties as assigned    
                                                 
Required Skills

•    Knowledge of accounting methods and procedures
•    Experience with financial accounting software
•    Detail oriented
•    Ability to perform basic numerical calculations
•    Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
•    Ability to work with others so as to establish and maintain an effective working relationship
•    High level of proficiency in Workday, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Required Education and Experience

•    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of two years of related experience is preferred.
