Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, performing a variety of maintenance services, must be able to work efficiently in resolving urgent issues. Specific duties include (but not limited to):

  • Analyze mechanical problems; provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills, diagnosing problems and carrying out the repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance WO on all production equipment’s in an acceptable time frame

What we offer:

  • Salary of $42.73/hr from day 1, and night premiums.

  • Uniforms and Safety Shoes: supplied by the Company.
  • Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) - Receive 60 cents per hour worked paid every 3 months.
  • 4 float days per year (year 1 is pro-rated).
  • RSP: Company and employee matching contribution of 4.25% of their pay.
  • Vacation 2 weeks per year from years 1 -4 increasing to 3 weeks per year.
  • Tool allowance of 455$/year.
  • This is a night shift position-- 10:30pm-6:30am.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum grade 12 High School Diploma with valid Canadian Industrial Millwright License.
  • Minimum 3-5 year experience working as Industrial Maintenance Millwright in Manufacturing
  • Experience with machining shop tools, Stick Welding and Oxyacetylene torch

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, EMaint database system an asset)
  • Dairy processing experience an asset.
  • Work independently or in team with little to no supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must also be familiar with WHMIS, GMP’s and good health and safety work practices
  • Must have a positive “Can Do Attitude” and customer focus.
  • Able to work various shifts.
