Job Summary:

Everest Reinsurance is seeking you to join our Business Performance & Analytics team as a Data Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Warren, NJ. This position offers a hybrid schedule, giving you flexibility while working closely with our team. In this role, you will work with data to support reporting and analytics needs across the organization. You will create reports, analyze data, and ensure data quality while collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver actionable insights.

Your Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources for reporting and analysis.

  • Develop and maintain basic reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel and Power BI.

  • Support recurring and ad-hoc data requests by extracting and summarizing data.

  • Identify trends and anomalies in data and present your findings to stakeholders.

  • Work with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into simple solutions.

  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Document processes and maintain clear records of data sources and reporting logic.

Your Qualifications, Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or reporting.

  • Familiarity with SQL and Excel; exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.

Your Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).

  • Ability to learn and work with SQL and BI tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

  • Good communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $120,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
