What you will do
- Define and execute enterprise master data governance strategies that improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability across regions and systems.
- Implement and sustain a master data governance framework, including policies, standards, procedures, and controls for sensitive data, with measurable improvements in data quality metrics.
- Oversee delivery of master data governance and data quality programs for assigned regions, meeting agreed milestones, timelines, and outcomes.
- Lead and develop master data governance and stewardship teams by setting goals, balancing workloads, sharing best practices, and supporting professional development.
- Establish and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and remediation plans in partnership with data management teams to reduce defects and prevent recurrence.
- Drive harmonization of end‑to‑end master data processes across divisions and geographies, including enterprise and local system owners.
- Partner closely with global system implementation and business process teams to embed data standards into projects, integrations, and operational processes.
- Influence and align global stakeholders by educating teams on data standards, building consensus, and enabling decisions that support consistent enterprise data practices.
What you will need
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance, master data management, or a related corporate data function.
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading people or matrixed teams.
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing or implementing master data governance frameworks, policies, or standards.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certification in data management or data governance (for example: CDMP, CIMP, or IQCP).
- Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, including data mapping, cleansing, or migration activities.
