Role Summary

This role focuses on design research, insights, and validation to inform product and experience decisions across hardware, software, and services. The individual will apply mixed-method research (qualitative and quantitative) to evaluate user needs, validate concepts, and generate actionable insights for design and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute UX research studies (qualitative and quantitative) to support design and product validation.

  • Conduct methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and basic analytics, following established research frameworks.

  • Analyze and synthesize data into clear insights, recommendations, and reports for stakeholders.

  • Support validation of concepts, prototypes, and live experiences to improve usability, usefulness, and overall experience quality.

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure user insights are integrated into decision-making.

  • Contribute to research documentation, insight repositories, and reusable learnings.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, HCI, Design Research, or related field.

  • Typically 2–4 years of experience in UX or market research.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Foundational experience in UX research methods (qual + quant) and data collection techniques.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Understanding of user-centered design and validation processes.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently within defined guidelines and timelines.

  • Familiarity with UX research platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Suzy, Qualtrics, or similar)

  • Exposure to AI-assisted research tools (e.g., for synthesis, survey generation, or insight analysis)

  • Experience with remote, unmoderated, or scaled research approaches

  • Basic understanding of eye-tracking or behavioral analytics tools is a plus

  • Korean language proficiency is a plus (to support regional research needs).

  • Contributes to improving design quality and user experience outcomes through research insights.
