Support Tech II

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Essential job requirements listed in bold)

• Transports patients in acute medical/surgical states under the direction and supervision of the Medical Imaging department and responds appropriately in emergency situations • Floats to all areas of the Medical Imaging areas as requested • Assists Medical Imaging health care team members with special procedures (lifting, turning and positioning patients) • Ability to perform cleaning, disinfecting and sanitation within the Imaging Department. • Performs timely cleaning duties related to room turn-around and terminal end of day EVS duties and performs other EVS duties as directed • Identifies and corrects problems related to the environmental processes within the Imaging department.
