Your Impact

The principle purpose of the Lead-Planogram is to lead a team of people that have responsibility for creating and assigning market specific planograms for the stores to utilize when completing resets. This includes responsibility for managing work flow processes that enable their team to have the resources, tools and information needed to accomplish planogram creation. This role is critical to Lowe's as it ensures that all planograms are created within established timelines and are maintained within standards.

What You Will Do

  • Manages product assignment processes to ensure timely and accurate planograms are assigned and sent to the stores which controls store stocking, presentation minimums, and space utilization for new and remerchandising stores

  • Supports Visual Merchandising team to ensure that plans are complete, accurate and delivered timely to support all resets and EMS tasks

  • Executes planogram review process to ensure all planograms comply with standards

  • Keeps pace with change and maintains a competitive advantage within the marketplace by understanding industry trends and quickly addressing any issues brought forward by field employees

  • Negotiates effectively for the organization with internal and external stakeholders and builds relationships with key individuals necessary for collaboration

  • Manages field communication processes (ISV Feedback, PDRs, POG Support) to ensure timely follow up on field based inquiries.

  • Aligns the team’s time and effort on projects that are critical to Planogramming’s success

  • Trains and develops the talent necessary to achieve stated objectives and providing meaningful development opportunities for individuals in preparation for succession planning

  • Oversees the distribution of workload across the planogram support team to ensure all deadlines are met


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable

  • 5 Years in merchandising, retail space planning, or related visual design functions.

  • 5 Years Demonstrated expertise in planogram software, floor planning tools, and visual presentation best practices

  • 5 Years Working in Merchandising and/or Store Operations. Large retailers preferred.

  • 3 Years Experience with assortment and/or space planning (e.g. categories, products, processes, etc.)

  • 3 Years Experience executing on project plans in a cross-functional environment


Preferred Skills/Education

  • 2 Years Experience at the Lowe’s CSC or similar retail environment in Merchandising, Store Environment, or Store Operations Experience Project planning and execution expertise: ability to define a project, develop appropriate work plans and drive it to completion Lowe’s Space Planning experience
