Senior Business Analyst (Prod. Loss Mit)  

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our Product Development in the field of mortgage servicing, with a focus on Loss Mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mortgage servicing processes, experience with ADO (Azure DevOps), and expertise in crafting user features and stories. Moreover, proficiency in Tempo is a crucial requirement for this role. 

Your day-to-day at Sagent:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to loss mitigation processes in the mortgage servicing domain. 
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise user features and user stories that can be effectively implemented by the development team. 
  • Utilize ADO (Azure DevOps) to manage and track project progress, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables in the context of loss mitigation strategies. 
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality of developed solutions. 
  • Provide detailed documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and projects updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field and 3-6 years of experience OR 6-10 years of experience in lieu of a degree in loan servicing, including any area, such as Support. 
  • Strong expertise in ADO (Azure DevOps) for project management and collaboration. 
  • Proficiency in creating user features and user stories to guide software development. 
  • Experience with Tempo or similar Loss Mitigation tools. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%).
