Responsibilities

  • Lead the modernization strategy for legacy applications, transforming monolithic architectures into microservices-based, cloud-native solutions.
  • Define end-to-end architecture for modernized systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess existing codebases and design modernization roadmaps.
  • Architect solutions to migrate applications to Platform or other target platforms, leveraging containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Establish technology standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks for modernization projects.
  • Drive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for refactored systems and integration layers.
  • Integrate AI-driven workflows and automation into modernized architecture where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements during migration.
  • Advocate for DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for modernized applications.
  • Mentor development teams on modern architecture principles, microservices design, and cloud deployment strategies.

Required Skills

  • 12–15 years of experience in solution architecture and application modernization.
  • Strong expertise in microservices architecture, API design (REST/GraphQL), and event-driven systems.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments.
  • Solid understanding of legacy system analysis, refactoring strategies, and migration planning.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React) and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET).
  • Familiarity with AI integration, Agentic AI frameworks, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, TOGAF, or AI/ML certifications.
  • Experience in industrial or IoT platforms.
