JR57474 Senior Engineer, SSD Software

Job Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for end-to-end design of new products – both technical & functional. 

·         Design highly scalable, robust, and cost-effective solutions in a cloud environment. 

·         Take complete ownership of the Non-Functional Requirements and drive the technology roadmap. 

·         Work with technical leaders in other groups like FW, Validation, CPG etc. in understanding the pain points and work with the engineering leaders to address them Identify applications for new technologies and lead implementation. 

·         Follow the defined principles, guidelines, reference architectures, and standards. 

·         Being a good Team player, suggest industry good practices and principles.

·         Execute proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to explore and introduce new technologies.

 

Core Requirements: 

·         Bachelor’s or master’s degree.

·         5-7 Years of extensive experience in software development.

·         Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems. 

·         Good Understanding & knowledge of OOPs, Design Patterns and Concepts. 

·          Relevant Knowledge GUI frameworks like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap preferably ReactJS. (if no working experience ready to learn ReactJS).

·         Ability to Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.

· Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git is preferred). 

·         Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc. 

·         Good knowledge of web server Tomcat in configuration and deployment.

·         Good Understanding and design & coding capability in microservices, Spring Boot/MVC, Spring Security, and REST API.

·         Experience with any RDBMS. 

 

Preferred Skills 

·         Java GUI Framework Apache Wicket. 

·         High-level understanding of Message Queues.
