Job Description:

This role will support the management of the participating business, including participate in the bonus and other discretionary benefits recommendation, regular asset share reporting, regulatory disclosures, as well as other initiatives and ad-hoc projects. It will also assist on product oversight and the review of product-related materials.

    Responsibilities

    • Support review and recommendation of discretionary benefits, including dividends, bonuses and non-guaranteed rates, and system implementation.

    • Support regular production processes including asset share reporting, regulatory disclosures and maintenance and development of actuarial models.

    • Assist on the review of other product-related materials to ensure its accuracy and that communications are as intended and congruent to PRE.

    • Other support on need basis: Provide actuarial support to Team Lead based on evolving regulations and other business need.

    Requirements

    • University Graduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines

    • Good progression in actuarial exams

    • At least one year of full-time experience in life insurance industry

    • Strong in Microsoft Excel

    • Experience in AXIS, Prophet ALS or other actuarial software is not required but a plus

    • Experience in HK-specific Par management and Product/ Pricing is an advantage

    • Attention to details

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
