What you can expect
This Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for working with sales teams to accelerate our developer product sales in India. Our team works with developers and enterprises who power real-time communications within their applications and services via the Zoom’s Communication Platform as a Service offerings.
This person would provide input in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives for the India ISV and SDK ecosystem. With a focus on strategy & execution for Lighthouse Accounts to inspire and excite our rapidly growing ecosystem.
About the Team
The ISV Builder Team is a specialist sales team for establishing & driving new partnerships to extend the use & monetization of Zoom’s developer tools (API+SDK) across Zoom Meetings, VideoSDK. The Team works in close partnership with the Global Sales organization, Marketing, Developer Advocacy Team and Product Management. We are a very agile team, tasked with growing and expanding this part of Zoom’s reach to help extend Zoom into new areas and markets. The ideal candidate is someone who is high energy, technically savvy and has a polished, strategic sales acumen.
Responsibilities
Acting as subject matter expert on the Zoom API/SDK technologies with sales teams and owner of Strategic ISV relationships
Knowing how to position the value and technical capabilities of APIs / SDKs
Identifying and closing business with strategic lighthouse ISVs whose use of Zoom’s Developer Platform can inspire the ecosystem and/or expand market coverage
Collaborating cross-functionally with Zoom product, sales, marketing and technical teams to prioritize objectives and key partners
Negotiating complex contract terms, pricing and conditions related to the Zoom ISV program and SDK sales
Coordinating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in and prioritization of partner projects. Track projects, owners, timelines and drive accountability.
Achieving quarterly revenue targets. Build and execute go-to-market strategies to drive MRR bookings
What we’re looking for
Have relevant experience – in a cPaaS/PaaS/SDK specialist sales role
Have a background in strategic business development, and technical sales - in particular, generating business with enterprise ISVs.
Have track record of over achievement on revenue goals and KPIs
Experience working with complex API/SDK integrations (pain points, go-to-market models etc)
Be highly motivated, self-starter mentality with a proven ability to drive projects to closure
Have experience in task prioritisation, workload and escalation management
Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and tactful diplomacy
