Summary of the position:

The Customer Solutions Provider is a highly visible front-line role on the Customer Solutions Team, which will include Call Center and Customer Relationship Management responsibilities.

This position is on site at the Hitachi Global Air Power facility, 1 Sullair Way, Michigan City, Indiana, and reports to the Director of Sales Support.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, availability, delivery, and problem resolution.

  • Use case-management in MS Dynamics CRM program and Sales Force to document customer inquiries and bring them to closure.

  • Act as company SMEs on MS Dynamics, assisting with training of supporting departments using the software.

  • Assist with the hard-allocation emergency order queue, reviewing orders with backorders and shortages, and procuring parts from other Sullair warehouse locations to fulfill those emergency orders in a timely basis.

Education:

  • Associate degree or other post high school training (2 years duration).

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service/sales.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.

  • Sense of urgency.

  • Sales Force experience is a plus

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and work well across all levels of the organization.

  • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel preferred.

  • Proficiency with SAP preferred.

  • Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.

  • Spanish language capabilities a plus.
