Job Description
DUTIES: Provide technical leadership within a team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of products and services to Customer Experience, Customer Service, and Technical Operations teams; design and develop Comcast’s customer-facing products, including the Enterprise Access Center; use Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to perform software development and cloud computing; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document software development activity using Git; analyze business and technical requirements, and create high- and low-level design documents for new software features and applications; design and develop user interfaces (UIs) for manufacturing execution system (MES) applications using UI technologies, including AngularJS, HTML, SQL, CSS, and TypeScript, as well as back-end technologies, including Java, JavaScript, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and REST; support the deployment of applications in both production and non-production environments; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and five (5) years of experience designing applications using Git, AngularJS, HTML, SQL, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and REST; of which three (3) years includes using Pivotal Cloud Foundry and TypeScript.
