Impact

As a Digital Merchandising Manager, Promotions & Deals, you will develop and own the merchandising promotional strategy for item and category-level offers, including managing the associated budget and overseeing the end-to-end execution. This role is paramount in maximizing customer value perception and driving incrementality through data-driven promotional offers and deal-page merchandising.

While no two days are the same, you will determine the optimal timing, eligible product assortment, and discount depth for promotions, while managing the financial forecast to drive profitable incrementality. You will monitor performance metrics like redemption rates and sales lift to rapidly adjust active promotions, and you will own the strategic merchandising of all site-wide deals pages to maximize engagement. You will lead the end-to-end execution of campaigns, partner with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging, and collaborate with Product & Tech to unlock new capabilities that optimize the customer's promotional experience.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • You have 3+ years of experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field, with a direct focus on promotions, deals, or pricing execution.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • You have a highly analytical mindset with strong financial and commercial acumen, comfortable building and communicating business cases and promotional forecasts to leadership.
  • You have strong working experience with complex data reporting tools, CMS, and project management systems.
  • You have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • You have experience in mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • You have strong project management skills with the ability to handle the complexity and tight deadlines inherent in promotional cycle.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. Employees (and eligible family members) are covered by medical, dental, vision and more.  Employees may enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: 

$90,200-$181,700

All other locations:

$75,200-$151,400

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
