Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 

  • Design and maintain Power BI data sources and reports including some SAP Web Intelligence reports in order to visualize complex data sets 

  • Track performance metrics and communicate insights effectively to leadership 

  • Support ad hoc data requests including analysis and development of reports for internal stakeholders 

  • Provide input, document requirements, and collaborate with IT teams to design and deliver new data models to support division reporting 

  • Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • BS degree in Math, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related experience

  • Good understanding of how BI/Analytics helps various business functions. 

  • Possess strong business knowledge in sales and finance and data management operations 

  • Mastery creating Business Intelligence reports using Power BI and SAP Web Intelligence/BOBJ. 

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and SharePoint 

  • Proficient with ETL process (i.e. ability to transform data, append & merge queries, create basic table relationships, etc) 

  • Knowledge of DAX Formulas to create calculated columns and measures for KPIs (data call resp. rates) 

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group, to achieve results through team efforts, and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade and direct the activities of others. 

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. 

  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL

  • Negative drug test result(s)


    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience applying statistical skills in a manufacturing, electronics design or business environment
