The Opportunity
We are looking for an Associate, Portfolio Solutions - Equities to help shape how our global Private Equity portfolio is measured, managed, and positioned across the organization. In this role, you will work at the intersection of portfolio analytics, valuation, data strategy, and investment insights, contributing to decisions that support our long-term investment strategy.

Who You Will Work With
You will report to the Director, Portfolio Solutions – Equities and collaborate closely with colleagues across the Private Equity investment and strategy teams, the broader Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG), and senior leaders in Finance, Risk, Total Fund Management, and the CIO Office.
This is a highly collaborative role where you willl build trusted relationships across the enterprise and become a key connector between investment teams and core governance functions.
What You Will Do
Portfolio Performance Measurement, Construction & Strategy
Produce analytics and insights that inform portfolio construction, asset allocation, exposure management, and performance evaluation.
Enhance portfolio reporting and dashboards to improve visibility into portfolio exposures and performance drivers.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, decision‑ready narratives for senior leadership.
Data Strategy & Modernization
Play a foundational role in modernizing our private asset data infrastructure by building scalable processes, improving data quality, and supporting automation of reporting.
Manage key data workflows, including quarterly financials, forecast updates, portfolio review materials, and other recurring deliverables alongside investment teams.
Support the development and execution of the Private Equity data roadmap, including data quality improvements, reporting automation, and scalable analytics.
Valuation
Coordinate core components of our semi‑annual Private Equity valuation process.
Review materials for accuracy and consistency; prepare summaries and insights for leadership.
Support high‑quality, timely valuation deliverables across the portfolio to interpret outcomes for management decision-making
Cross‑Functional Partnership & Reporting
Serve as a liaison between Private Equity and Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, TFM, and the CIO Office to support effective governance and portfolio reporting.
Lead and contribute to operating model improvements, cross‑asset‑class initiatives, and strategic PSG projects.
Prepare high‑quality materials for senior leadership committees and Board‑level reporting.
Support ad hoc analysis and stakeholder requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
What You Will Need
Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into recommendations.
Understanding of private asset valuation methodologies and key risk concepts.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create executive‑ready materials.
Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast‑paced environment with strong ownership and attention to detail.
Experience collaborating across functions and influencing stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
A degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience in investment banking, consulting, valuation, accounting / advisory, or a similar high‑performance environment.
Exposure to private markets and understanding of SQL
Professional designations (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBV) are assets
Knowledge of private asset workflow management tools is an asset
