What You Will Do:

The Partnerships and Learning (P&L) segment of the client’s Data Governance Team is focused on increasing their data acumen and furthering the partnership and collaboration with law enforcement and intelligence community partners. The consultant will lead the growth and maturity of the client’s Data Governance Council and track and drive actions with associated data partners. The consultant will work with key stakeholders including the client’s Chief Data Officer (CDO) to update and publish their annual data strategy. The consultant will also work to help develop a data hub for data training and content.

The consultant will be responsible for training and strategic communication materials to enhance the client’s data literacy and raise awareness of data governance best practices and policies. The consultant should expect to use JIRA to track and monitor work tasks requested by the client and be comfortable working with a small team in fast pace environments where requirements and tasks fluctuate daily. 

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of relevant data management experience may be used in leu of degree requirement

• Five (5) or more years of gathering, scrutinizing, and assessing information.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with data governance, data information sharing, data accessibility, and data security

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Department of Justice experience a plus
