This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced compliance attorney to join a multidisciplinary Global Litigation & Compliance team and help implement and sustain Applied Materials’ compliance programs within Europe and Israel. This role includes broad responsibilities reporting into the Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance but also working extensively with leaders in trade, privacy, and litigation. While a significant focus of the role will be counseling the business and other legal teams on privacy and data governance, it will also involve providing oversight for other regulatory, risk, and compliance areas in the region, including business ethics, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, anti-fraud, and trade. This is an onsite role and will be based in an Applied office in Germany or Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities as a Director, Regional Compliance Officer for Europe
In coordination with the broader Global Litigation & Compliance team, you will be responsible for compliance counseling, programming, enforcement, remediation, and reporting in the areas of privacy, data governance, ethics and integrity, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk management, trade regulation, and export controls.
