Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant!

Are you passionate about providing top-notch patient care and exceptional customer service? We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll collaborate with our Clinical services staff to support direct patient services, always with a positive, "can-do" attitude. Your primary focus will be on ensuring patient comfort and trust, serving as a key point of contact with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Preparation: Review and update patient records before visits, including Telehealth appointments. Check for recent test results and correspondence.
  • Exam Room Maintenance: Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
  • Patient Screening: Greet patients, take vital signs, and document medical history accurately.
  • Assistance During Exams: Support physicians and mid-level providers during patient examinations.
  • Efficient Use of Time: Restock supplies and maintain clean, orderly exam rooms.

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately.
  • Tech Savvy: Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to cross-train and adapt to various job duties.
  • Multi-tasking: Thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Effective working with diverse populations.
  • Professionalism: Knowledge of "Universal Precautions" and HIPAA standards.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish or other languages preferred.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Colorado Driver’s License and insurance.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant.
  • Current, valid CPR certification.
