About Us - Admit Discharge
Located inside Freeman West, the Admitting and Discharge Lounge (ADL) is a place where patients can go to wait for a bed assignment, wait for a ride home upon discharge, and receive outpatient infusions and treatments.
Our Admit/Discharge Team responds to requests for help with admissions, discharges, and other tasks on the inpatient nursing units.
The Admit/Discharge team has helped to improve patient flow, improve efficiency on the nursing units, and reduce overall wait times.
The Admit Discharge Lounge is staffed with nurses and nurse technicians who effectively communicate and provide excellent patient care.
Open Monday-Friday 6:30am  10pm ; Saturday-Sunday 6:30am - 7:00pm

What You’ll Do

Assists With Basic Patient Care Needs In A Therapeutic Environment. Assists Rn With Equipment Needs, Scheduling Follow-Up Appointments, And Any Other Duties As Assigned By The Rn And/Or Director Of Nursing Resources.

Requirements
•Current Missouri CNA License Or Documented Proof Of Passing Missouri Dept Of Health And Senior Services Certified Nurse Assessment Competency, Upon Hire.
•Must Successfully Pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) Within 30 Days Of Hire.
•AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 30 Days.
•NT Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
