FUNCTION
Perform all duties related to; loading, unloading, counting, receiving, and managing the dock to ensure the smooth flow of all incoming & outgoing product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

  • Maintain organization of the dock
  • Load and unload materials delivery trucks
  • Count & tally all inbound product in a detailed manner
  • Separate requested quantities for Quality to audit
  • Audit inbound for Vendor accuracy
  • Count, load and label all product pulled for the Annual Outlet Sale
  • Match; Tally Sheet & Packlist for inbound accuracy
  • Email all those involved with the following: Inventory Discrepancies, Item Set-up, & all Packlist / Seal Issues
  • Receive product via SCALE
  • Label all cases directed into the warehouse
  • Sort, distribute and stock parcel deliveries
  • Process front office requests such as delivery of office supplies
  • Replenish cardboard to support shipping when needed
  • Assist in other Operations areas as needed
  • Confirm Container Seal / 7 Point Inspection as per guidelines
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Communicate to material handlers necessary dock needs

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate
  • Previous Warehouse/Dock experience preferred

  • Light warehouse environment—constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching
  • Physical stamina to maintain adequate productivity rates
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift equipment
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Base Pay Range:

$18.37 - $27.50

Vera Bradley’s compensation ranges are based on market data and comply with all local, state and federal regulations. Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education. The posted salary reflects base pay only and excludes bonuses, equity, or other incentives, if applicable.
