Job Summary

As a FE Android Developer, you will spearhead the design and development of mobile applications for FE Android platforms. Your expertise in android technologies, combined with your capacity to deliver intuitive user experiences, will be pivotal to the success of our mobile endeavors.

Responsibilities and Duties

•     Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of devices including mobile phones and tablet computers.
•     Primary focus will be development of applications and their integration with  back-end services.
•     Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
•     A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
•     Perform functional analysis, application design, development, unit test, deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

•     Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•     Proficient in Java Kotlin
•     Experience with frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
•     Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
•     Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
•     Knowledge of UI/UX standards
•     Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines
•     Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
•     Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
•     Knack for benchmarking and optimization
•     Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitLab
•     Familiarity with continuous integration
•     Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, preferably vue.js
•     Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
•     Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Optimize
•     Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
•     Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA
•     Familiarity with CI/CD
