Role Responsibilities:
The Leadership Development Partner role will help pioneer a new team at DICK'S Sporting Goods called Learning & Innovation Lab designed to function as an experimental hub for DICK'S Sporting Goods' Learning and Development function. This team’s primary purpose is to cultivate leadership capabilities across all levels, from early career programs to executive coaching, while fostering a culture where learning itself is a vital skill. The team approaches learning as a scientific experiment, continuously testing, refining, and evolving methods and technologies to drive innovation in leadership development and organizational learning.
The Leadership Development Partner is responsible for facilitating and evaluating leadership development programs that enhance the capabilities of store leaders. This role requires building strong relationships with stakeholders, analyzing the effectiveness of learning programs, and coaching employees to be capable leaders. The Leadership Development Partner will be a key player in fostering a culture of learning and teaching within the organization.
Job Duties:
Facilitate leadership development programs that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Facilitate classroom and virtual learning experiences for leaders at various levels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to understand their development needs.
Partner with instructional designers to create engaging and effective content.
Conduct analysis of learning programs to measure their impact and effectiveness, using data to inform continuous improvement.
Provide coaching and support to leaders to enhance their development and performance.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in leadership development and blended learning solutions.
Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to ensure alignment and consistency in leadership development initiatives.
Promote a culture of learning and teaching within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
HR, OD, IO Phycology, Behavioral Sciences, Leadership Development or similar
5-7 years experience
Minimum of 5 years business experience
Minimum 5 years leadership development training
Understanding of Adult Learning Theory
MS Office Skills (excel, Word and PPT)
