Meet the Team

We are a global team of full-stack software engineers who create apps that enable delivery of high-quality products to our customers. We handle the secure transfer, processing, and analysis of our test data and data-related items from and to our factories. Our software runs non-stop and checks the quality of all our products after testing to ensure they are the best. We develop webapps that support product customization, assembly processes, production test automation, yield analysis, quality tools, infrastructure for our custom automated test solution and more. 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineering leader to manage our Operations Software team in Hyderabad.  This leader will guide a team of full-stack software engineers to address the operational needs of our global company. Building robust relationships with Product Test, Quality, Production/Manufacturing, Security, DevOps, IT, and more will be a key responsibility. The ability to contribute technically to support the team in a “player-coach” role is required.  This could include architecture support, code review, or pushing bugfixes as part of a triage rotation.  Promoting software and security best practices, reducing technical debt, and enhancing processes will also be part of the role.

Skills You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience leading, recruiting, developing, and retaining members of a technical team.
  • 8+ years software development experience, proficient in revision control, object-oriented programming.
  • Demonstrated competence in full-stack development with Python and ReactJS (or similar).
  • Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, architecture design, code review, testing, user acceptance, etc.
  • Professional experience with remote teams as well as diverse cultures and perspectives
  • A proven track record of success in project planning, tradeoff analysis and execution.
  • Experience using agile collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira to facilitate communication, project management, and task prioritization.
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to explain technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Software Skills:
    • Passionate about software quality, advocating for development best practices such as readability, reliability, scalability, and testing.
    • Innovates in a constantly evolving industry to achieve more performant and higher quality software
    • Use of Docker containers in software development and application.
    • Linux administration and system security.
  • Software tools and ecosystems you should have familiarity with:
    • Python / pandas / ReactJS / PostgreSQL
    • Linux / Docker / AWS
    • nginx / FastAPI
    • Git / Jira / Confluence / Jenkins / VS Code or PyCharm
  • Semiconductor:
    • 1-2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
    • Well-versed in semiconductor manufacturing and test processes, product development life cycle, and data analysis
