This role connects with our therapeutic experts, operational teams, and the commercial organization to develop strategies, tactics, and content to grow business and engagement in the assigned areas. The selected individual will develop messaging based on inputs from around the organization and industry, then execute that messaging in an omnichannel fashion including graphic, narrative and video formats across channels such as our website, social and paid media, and as standalone sales aids. By becoming marketing’s go-to expert in the assigned subject areas, the individual will help craft and execute marketing strategies, events, develop and report ROI measures, and contribute to our larger strategic initiatives.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Increase awareness, improve perception and strengthen differentiation for various priority therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular and metabolic, drug development solutions and services.
Advise on and develop strategies to create compelling marketing messaging and programs via omni-channel approach to drive client interest and create differentiation.
Develop and manage marketing strategies, go-to-market plans and tactical budgets for assigned therapeutic areas aligned with Marketing objectives and priorities.
Launch and manage highly targeted marketing campaigns that drive engagement with and preference for Fortrea and focus on sales enablement and lead generation.
Partner with campaign marketing, SMEs (medical and operational) and marketing centers of excellence to develop compelling messaging and provide guidance on go-to-market strategies and tactics (webinars, conferences, white papers, media etc.) to drive client interest and differentiate Fortrea solutions.
Collaborate with SMEs and operational teams to generate customer-facing materials.
Working with SMEs and commercial stakeholders, develop a priority list of relevant trade shows and other events, then work collaboratively in planning and executing them to drive awareness and lead generation.
Measure impact of marketing initiatives via metrics and dashboards reporting. Make recommendations on improvements and best practices for future programs.
All other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and formal academic qualification such as a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Extensive experience with marketing program strategy, planning, development, and implementation in the health & life sciences industry.
Experience in omni-channel strategies including digital, social, print, email, webinar and face-to-face events
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with senior management
Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to influence others outside of marketing
Excellent written, project management, presentation and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
Must be a self-motivator – willing to influence events and people to achieve goals
Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
Ability to work to deadlines and problem-solve; Positive attitude and sense of urgency
Strong analytical, time management and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel globally – up to 15% travel
Experience (Minimum Required):
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a CRO / Pharma
A minimum of 5 years of experience in job discipline
