The Nursing Manager (Occupational Health) manages nursing service activities for occupational health services, including promoting employee safety and ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role serves as a clinical and people leader within an occupational health setting and supports a safe, compliant, and effective workplace in Denver, Spokane and Arvin, CA.

You will provide leadership for occupational health nursing services, direct nursing staff, and partner with key stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, high-quality care, and continuous improvement in employee health and safety practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and oversee nursing service activities for occupational health services, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct and supervise nursing staff providing occupational health services.
  • Promote employee safety and wellness while ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise the implementation and enforcement of occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and conduct training programs that promote employee safety and injury prevention in the workplace.
  • Measure employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Train, onboard, and mentor new staff members while promoting the growth and development of existing staff.
  • Oversee compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) across work activities and environments.
  • Conduct or support accident and incident investigations in accordance with safety plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer first aid and ensure appropriate emergency procedures are followed.
  • Support nursing assessment and care activities, including development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical policies, standards, and evidence-based practices across occupational health services.

What You Will Have:

  • Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of CO, WA, CA
  • Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited direct supervision
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive medical information
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Proficiency with office support tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and spreadsheet applications
  • Working knowledge of influencing strategies and the ability to impact decisions within and outside the organization
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining effective interpersonal relationships across teams and functions
  • Strong knowledge of clinical policies, standards, and regulatory requirements within a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership skills, including staff development, performance management, and operational oversight
  • Experience with nursing assessment, care planning, and outcome evaluation across diverse patient populations
  • Knowledge of safety, injury prevention, emergency procedures, and occupational health standards

  • Primary location: Denver, CO
  • Onsite requirement: 5 days per week
  • This is a first shift role from 7am - 3:30pm.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
