JR59417 Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities: 

Construct Future-Generation Data Systems 

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to establish and guide the roadmap and architecture of data infrastructure. 

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop a scalable and maintainable data pipeline encompassing data warehousing, data integration, and ETL processing. 

  • Create documentation related to software development, design, test cases, user training, and release. 

  • Lead or participate in bespoke data integration projects involving internal data systems and/or external subcontracted manufacturing and logistics systems. 

  • Work with SMAI/IT architectures/teams to plan and prioritize infrastructure delivery, ensuring processes and deliverables are aligned with the roadmap. 

  • Work alongside backend developers to define API specifications (e.g., REST services) 

Ensure High-Quality Operational Data 

  • Set up best practices and tools for software development to uphold data integrity, perform cleanup, and validate across all pertinent data sources. 

  • Facilitate ongoing improvements in data quality to minimize support requirements. 

  • Establish centralized logging and monitoring systems equipped with logic for generating usage reports and conducting audits. 

  • Work in conjunction with IT to guarantee efficient processes for incident management, problem resolution, and change management. 

Design and Implement Data Analytics 

  • Develop comprehensive business analysis that identifies challenges, opportunities, and potential solutions for the business. Project management and planning. 

  • Engage with extensive and intricate data sets to address a broad spectrum of business issues using various analytical and statistical methodologies. 

  • Resolve intricate optimization challenges utilizing optimization techniques. 

  • Create and standardize data science solutions within a production data pipeline. 

  • Ascertain statistical validity and significance, conduct statistical analysis to guide data-driven decisions, and identify anomalies, trends, and shifts. 

Create Contemporary Visualization Solutions and Web Applications 

  • Develop web application and automate the needs for business reporting. 

  • Conduct interactive design sessions with customers. 

  • Utilize experimentation methods and design tests to enhance key user experiences.
