Join us as a Third-Party Risk Manager
- This is a people leadership role in which you’ll focus on leading and delivering innovative third-party risk management (TPRM) and supply chain solutions to enhance the customer experience while managing risks
- You’ll manage, identify, and support the development and simplification of processes and procedures that will enhance our proposition, ensuring alignment with relevant frameworks and regulatory requirements
- You’ll benefit from considerable exposure, maintaining relationships across TPRM, franchises, and functions, the three lines of defence, and Supply Chain, and you’ll be recognised for delivering excellent service
- We are offering this role at vice president level
What you'll do
As a Third-Party Risk Manager, you’ll lead a team to manage, support, and implement joined-up, global TPRM and supply chain solutions and processes across the organisation. You’ll do so in accordance with relevant frameworks and risk standards to support business areas in effectively identifying and remediating their external outsourcing risks. You’ll manage, motivate, and develop your team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of TPRM processes in line with our objectives, indicators, and customer requirements.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Maximising the performance of your team through robust quality and productivity management and by setting, monitoring, and providing feedback on group and individual objectives
- Developing strong networks across the industry and external organisations, including competitors, and bringing deep insights and analysis back into the organisation
- Delivering proactive plans to ensure the efficient delivery and management of risk and supply chain processes in line with customer needs, service level agreements, and required quality standards
- Managing effective reporting that can be utilised by the franchises, functions, and accountable executives to identify, manage, and remediate their external outsourcing risks
- Managing the TPRM helpdesk and driving an automation and simplification culture across your team to support colleagues bank wide
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for a someone with proven people leadership and coaching skills and experience in managing simplification including automation and AI. You’ll have knowledge and experience in managing onboarding and in-life operational processes to identify, manage, and remediate external outsourcing risks, with a proven track record of simplifying processes.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- At least ten years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of supply chain cycle and third-party risk management framework
- Ability to motivate, engage, and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality while influencing and driving outcomes across diverse teams
- Possesses a risk management and problem-solving mindset with a proactive, customer-centric approach
- Knowledge of contract law and legal knowledge relevant to supply chain management
- Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
