The Mortgage Funding and Broker Support team is Primarily responsible for the administering of routine residential mortgage portfolio from new loan inception to maturity or discharge. In addition to preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions and documents, this position requires a high degree of Accuracy and Teamwork. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions

  • Address routine queries from internal and external customers

  • Maintain control of all security/property documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices.

  • Knowledge of real estate law Knowledge of mortgage-related provincial legislation.

  • Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proven organization and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to understand and correctly interpret legal mortgage documents

  • During peak times overtime will be required.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oral and written French language skills are an asset but not required.

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel Previous Banking experience

Salary range is expected to be between

$41,925.00 CAD - $69,875.00 CAD
