Summary:
As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights, analyzing user needs, and translating them into functional specifications. You will engage in brainstorming sessions to innovate solutions, ensuring that the applications align with business objectives while maintaining a user-centric approach. Your role will also include testing and validating designs to ensure they meet the specified requirements, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and technology teams to define and execute personalization strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
• Identify use cases for real-time personalization and map them to Personalization (Interaction Studio) capabilities.
2. Implementation & Configuration
• Configure Web and Email personalization campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio).
• Build and manage templates, content zones, and dynamic campaigns for site and email channels.
• Implement sitewide JavaScript tags (Web SDK) to enable data capture and event tracking across digital properties.
• Configure and validate catalogs, user attributes, and behavioral event schemas within Personalization.
• Set up open-time email personalization experiences integrated with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
3. Integration & Data Management
• Integrate Interaction Studio with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, CDP, and external data sources via APIs and data feeds.
• Collaborate with web developers to ensure correct JavaScript tag deployment, data collection, and real-time event streaming.
• Manage data quality, user identity resolution, and attribute mapping for accurate personalization.
4. Testing, Optimization & Reporting
• Conduct A/B and multivariate testing on personalized experiences.
• Monitor and optimize campaign performance using built-in analytics and third-party tools.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving engagement and conversion metrics.
5. Governance & Collaboration
• Maintain documentation for tag configuration, campaign logic, and integration flows.
• Ensure privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA) in event tracking and data usage.
• Work closely with creative, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with user experience design and usability testing.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data management within Salesforce.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
