About the Team:
CONNECT Deployment is a team of Technical Project Managers (TPMs) who support the network capacity needs for the entire national Comcast footprint. The team is comprised of very diverse individuals who enjoy everyday challenges, who also like to work hard and celebrate accomplishments.
This Technical Project Manager can be based in either our Mt Laurel, NJ location or our Philadelphia headquarters. It is not approved for virtual/remote hiring. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
Team Responsibilities:
This team is responsible for deploying both the Access and Core infrastructure for the full Comcast footprint. The team maintains solid working relationships with the internal logistics teams, Divisions, Regions, and market partners to provide the best-in-class services to Comcast customers. These partnerships ultimately drive many efficiencies that allow the team to achieve their deployment goals.
What You'll Do:
Create and track end to end project plans in conjunction with Division/Region/Market partners.
Track tasks and milestones across all parties.
Coordinate, manage and drive completion of deployment activities from deployment to turn up.
Collaborate with field partners to streamline processes to create better efficiencies to align with our day-to-day objectives.
Report on project's progress on a weekly basis.
Identify and manage critical path and risk areas and create risk response and mitigation plans.
Report weekly (or as necessary) on any risks/issues.
Escalate issues as required to unblock open issues.
Work with other project managers to track and manage inter-project dependencies.
Manage within budgetary objectives set by finance, monitoring and controlling costs within functional area.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
Organized and detail-oriented
Intermediate Excel skills
Ownership mentality, will take accountability for the success and quality of results
Project management background preferred
Ability to study up on the project objective, understand the technical foundation of the work, and the ability to communicate in non-technical terms
Creative, self-motivated teammate willing to take ownership of tasks assigned and new responsibilities
