About This Role
The Materials Management Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse and dispensary operations to ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient movement of materials across the facility. This role would be a co-lead for a team of 8–12 employees, coordinating daily activities including weigh and dispense operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving in a cGMP environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational flow, partnering cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, and Planning to meet production timelines. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve operational challenges while maintaining compliance. This position operates with a high degree of independence and reports into site operations leadership, contributing directly to overall facility performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead weigh and dispense operations using Syncade MES ensuring cGMP compliance
Lead daily warehouse activities including receiving and shipping of materials
Coordinate team workload to maintain operational efficiency and schedule adherence
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and cycle count variances
Collaborate cross-functionally to support production and materials planning needs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within materials management processes
Ensure completion and compliance of all GxP and safety training requirements
Support SOP revisions, deviations, and Good Control Compliance activities
Monitor and ensure timely completion of departmental work orders
Other job duties as required

Required Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management/warehouse/logistics (OR Associate's plus 3 years experience OR Bachelor's plus 1 year experience)
Experience with cycle count programs and inventory audits
Warehouse operations leadership
Experience using Oracle or other ERP systems
Forklift experience or ability to be trained
Strong communication and team coordination
Cross-functional collaboration
Safety and quality focus
Physical requirements:
Ability to stand for four (4) hours, walk for three (3) hours, sit for three (3) hours, kneel or bend for one (1) hour, is required to perform upper body twisting motions for one half (½) hour and climb steps for one half (½) hour during the normal course of performing the essential duties of the position.
Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance for up to 100 feet, occasionally push/pull more than 100 pounds
Sufficient physical dexterity to operate a telephone, computer/electronic equipment, hand tools, forklifts, order selectors and other equipment
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a GMP environment
Experience working with MES
Continuous improvement or Lean experience
