The Opportunity:
Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Systems Architect supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Design architecture including software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements
Provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
Identify, assess, and present options for meeting functional and technical requirements
Design high-level system diagrams and architectural documentation
Ensure systems comply with open systems architecture standards
Evaluate and solve problems of workflows, organization, and planning
Develop architectural solutions that integrate legacy and modern systems
Research, identify, select, and test technology products
Establish and implement technology integration strategies
Stay current with industry trends and new technologies
Work on advanced, complex technical projects
Provide architectural guidance to development teams
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in systems architecture
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles
Experience with architectural frameworks and patterns
Understanding of system integration concepts
Experience with technology evaluation and selection
Desired:
Experience with DoD/Navy programs
Knowledge of DoD architectural frameworks
Cloud architecture experience
SAFe certification
Security architecture expertise
Experience with legacy system modernization
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Understanding of DevSecOps practices
