Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Senior Consultant to join our Oracle ERP Practice to strengthen our delivery capabilities.

Reporting to the Oracle Cloud ERP Delivery Principal, the successful candidate will liaise closely with colleagues, clients and project team members in the implementation and maintenance of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers and colleagues for consulting, requirements gathering, design, implementation and ongoing support of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
  • Assist customers with analysing, designing, testing and deploying Oracle Cloud ERP enhancements, reports and regular application updates & patches.
  • Definition and preparation of any required approach and/or standards documentation, requirements elicitation, specification and fit gap.
  • Business process modelling and specification.
  • Functional design specification for customisations and enhancements (including interfaces and reports).
  • Configuration design and build.
  • Data conversion design.
  • Security design and build.
  • Test planning, preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Management of issues and risks.
  • Quality management – review of key deliverables, promote consistency in solution, ensure adherence to scope and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Provide functional inputs to other streams such as technical upgrade, development, test, and deployment.
  • Train and mentor other team members.
  • Transition and knowledge transfer.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

To be successful in this position you will possess many of the following attributes:

  • Advanced understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP Cloud, with understanding of integration with Oracle HCM and EPM an advantage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for both implementation projects and BAU support services.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience implementing an supporting Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
  • Excellent requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business requirements into functional design specifications.
  • Prior experience working in a formal project environment.
  • Proven ability to perform analysis, design, configuration, and test activities for Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills, establishing good working relationships with project team members, the business and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train others.
  • Possess a good command of the English language, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as a part of a project team.
