We focus on understanding the unique needs and challenges merchants face and translating them into compelling product positioning, customer-centric messaging, and impactful value propositions for Pay with PayPal, including Braintree, Checkout, and our ever-expanding suite of innovative payment tools.

Your way to impact

As our Go-to-Market & Product Success Manager for PayPal's newest Checkout Products, you'll be pivotal in maximizing product adoption, revenue acceleration and building scalable product retention strategies. You'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market plans that leverage targeted downstream distribution channels and engage critical stakeholders. 

Your day to day

In your day-to-day role, you will:

  • Own the product narrative, articulate compelling value propositions for merchants, translate product features into customer-centric messaging frameworks, and develop sales collateral and learning agendas to guide sales and marketing teams. 

  • Champion the customer voice, advocating for customer needs and problem statements within the product organization, driving customer-centric product development and roadmap prioritization. Identify and gather customer feedback, effectively "translating" it into actionable insights and market requirements for product teams. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, partnering closely with product teams (Checkout, Merchant Platforms), sales, marketing, and servicing leadership to ensure seamless product launches and merchant adoption of new checkout and personalization products. 

  • Be at the forefront of all Checkout (XO) and Personalization innovation initiatives, contributing to transformation of the checkout and payments landscape. 

  • Own and measure the success of go-to-market initiatives, demonstrating a clear impact on product adoption, revenue metrics, and retention strategies. 

What do you need to bring

  • Track record of experience in B2B Product GTM, Product Marketing, and/or Product Commercialization Strategy; ideally within payments or financial services industry. 

  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and messaging development. 

  • Proficiency in creating compelling sales collateral and training materials that empower sales teams to close deals. Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. 

  • Passion about understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable insights for product development and market scalability requirements. 

  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills, able to develop and execute data-driven go-to-market plans and pilot programs. 

  • Collaborator extraordinaire who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys building solid relationships with stakeholders across the PayPal Inc. organization. 

  • Familiarity with global markets and the ability to adapt strategies to different cultural contexts is a plus.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$82500 to $187990
