JOB DESCRIPTION:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Lead the commercial activities for ANI Myanmar & Cambodia, including the development and implementation of business plans that align with the overall Division’s strategy and meet both financial and non-financial objectives.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree in related filed

  • 10+ years of relevant commercial experience with at least 5 years at management level

  • Prior experience within nutrition or healthcare industries preferred

  • Proven people management experience, preferably with building, leading, coaching, and motivating a sales team and leading distributors.

  • Experience within Southeast Asia markets

  • Experience working for large, multinational companies.

  • Speak and write fluent English

  • Analytical, energetic & strive in a highly result-oriented environment.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute compliant sustainable growth strategy for Abbott Nutrition International (ANI) businesses in Myanmar and Cambodia under an appropriate operating model including distribution structure and partnerships  Delivers on the financial objectives for ANI Myanmar and Cambodia; Holds profit and loss responsibility.  Works with the distributor to create a good working environment with focus on acquiring, developing and retaining top talent working for the distributor on behalf of Abbott Ensure that all business activities for both ANI and partners (e.g. distributors) are conducted in accordance with Abbott Code of Ethics and local government laws Manages and supports the distributor in achieving the business objectives.  Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers in the local health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders and community.  Ensure all Key Accounts are well covered by distributors to achieve sales & marketing objectives. Anticipates market trends and implements the necessary changes to meet customer needs.  Assesses market data, determines, and prioritizes potential market growth opportunities.  Plan for field activities such as product launches, road shows, product training and symposiums to create product awareness among health professionals and public. Implement plans for product demos, evaluation, placement, complaint handlings and training for customers whenever the needs arise. Works closely with regional team and local country shared service to implement business processes and execute key business initiatives, ensure local Regulatory and Quality requirements are fulfilled  Act as Sales and Marketing Coach by spending time with ANI / distributor sales and marketing teams, out in the field and providing feedback on performance gaps.  Applies and communicates Abbott values in all decisions internally and externally.
