Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Custodian to join our dynamic team in Heath, OH.

Position Responsibilities:

• Possesses substantial knowledge and understanding of the general aspects of the custodial tasks and cleaning processes.

• Solves routine problems by following established custodial practices and procedures.

• Work is reviewed for overall adequacy by lead custodian. Under minimal supervision applies proper safety techniques and storage methods in the completion of daily custodial activities.

• Has demonstrated familiarity with security awareness requirements for assigned area.

• Maintains awareness of supply levels and communicates needs to assigned lead custodian.

• Assists lead custodian in delivery of supplies to required areas.

• Provides occasional guidance on established cleaning techniques to less experienced custodians.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in janitorial/custodial services

• Able to stand and walk throughout work shift (6+ hours) as well as carry and lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Strong execution, communication and collaboration skills

• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: USD $34,850 – $47,150
